It is Kapha – Pitta Shamaka Aushada, Pacaka Pitta Prasadana and Samshodhaka in Nature

By Virtue of its above said properties, it has actions like Kushtaghna(Relieves Skin Disorders), Jwaraghna(Relieves Fever), Vishaghna(Acts against Poison), Chardighna(Relieves Vomiting), Cause Rooksha Virechana(Purgation of Rooksha type), Does Pitta Prasadana.

Indications:- Kushta(Skin Disorders), Jwara(Fever), Visha(Poisoned Patients), Chardi (Vomiting), Arochaka, Kamala(Jaundice), Visarpa(Erysipelas), Vishajanya Twak Roga(Skin disorders caused due to Poisoning).

Ingredients:- Chandana, Madhusrava, Guduchi, Patha.

Pathya Shadangam Kasahaya/Pathyaksha Dhathryadi Kashaya

 

It is having actions like Vatanulomana(proper movement of Vata dosha), Sula prashamana(Relieves Pain) which makes it an excellent remedy for Shirashoola(Headache).

Indication:- Sirsha Shoola(Headache), Bhru Sula(Pain in Eye Brow), Sankha Sula(Neck), Karna Sula(Ear Pain), Ardhasiro Ruja(Pain in half part of Head), Suryavartha, Sankhaka, Danta Pata, Danta Ruja, Naktandhya(Night Blindness), Sukhla Roga(Disease Pertaining to Sperm), Chakshu Roga(Eye Disease).

Nimbamrtadi Panchatikta Kashaya/Panchatikakam Kashaya

 

It is a Pitta – Kapha Samaka aushada, It has excellent action on Kushta(Skin Disorders) due to its action like Rakta Prasadana, Malanulomana(Proper expelling of waste products from body), Krimighna(Acts against worms), Vishagna(Anti – Poison), Varna Prasadana (Increase Skin Tone), Sopha hara(Relieves Inflammation), Relieves Burning Sensation

Other than this it has Asthi Pushtikara(Nourishes Bone), Nadi Balya(Strenghthens Nerves).

Indications:- Kushta(Skin Disorders), Visarpa(Erysipelas), Erysipelas or Visarpa in Children, Visha(Poison infected), Krimi(Worm Infested), Jwara(Fever), Arbuda(Cancer), Bhagandara(Fistula In ano), Vrana(Ulcer), Vatarakta(Gouty Arthritis), Visama Jwara(Chronic Fever)

This Particular Formulation is mentioned in Ashtanga Hrudaya Kushta Chikitsa, It is an excellent Pitta – Kapha Samaka, It’s actions Sroto shodhana, Malanulomana(Proper elimination of bodily wastes), Durmedohara(Eliminates excess accumulated fat) enables the medicine to have an excellent action on Kushta.

Indications:- Visarpa(Eryisepalas), Agni Visarpa, Twak Roga(Skin Disorders), Pittadhika Kushta( Skin Disorders due to aggravation of Pitta), Pitaka, Daha(Burning Sensation), Trt(Thirst), Bhrama(Giddiness), Kandu(Itching), Pandu(Anaemia), Dushta Vrana(Ulcer that is difficult to cure), Nadi Vrana(Pilonidal Sinus), Visphota, Vidrathi, Gulma, Sopha(Inflammation), Unmada(Mental Disorders), Rakta Pitta(Bleeding Disorders), Kamala(Jaundice), Bhagandara(Fistula in ano), Apasmara(Epilepsy).

Ingredients:- Saptacchada, Parpata, Samyaka, Katuka, Vaca, Triphala, Patmaka, Patha, Haridra, Usheera, Murva, Shatavari, Patola, Ativisha, Musta, Trayanti.

Kokilaksham Kashyam

 

It is Vata – Pitta samana in nature, its diuretic action helps to relieve Sopha(Inflammation), Ashmarighna(Calculi).

Indications:- Vatarakta(Gouty Arthritis), Ashmari(Urinary Calculi), Mutra Kricchra(Difficulty in Micturition), Arbuda(Cancer), Vata Shonita Janya Vikara.
