In the present time almost every one has the low back pain.The pain felt over the back .Now a days most commonly seen in the middle back and low back region.The pain can either from the ligaments that form the spine, muscles and tendons which support back orfrom the bones,nerves which exist in the spinal column and even the internal organs.There are many reasons for backache.it may be acute,sub- acute,or chronic depend on the duration .depending on the reasons there are different types of pain such as piercing type of pain, shooting type of pain,dull ache etc..

Causes

  1. Sitting in same posture long hours
  2. Arthritis
  3. Lack of exercise
  4. Less physical movements
  5. Sleeping in wrong postures
  6. Increased mental stress.
  7. Straining of the joints
  8. Problems which related to kidney
  9. Injury to back
  • Obesity
  • Wearing heigh heel shoes
  • Imbalanced diet
  • During pregnancy etc….

 

 

Do’s and dont’s

  1. Take plenty of water
  2. Avoid sitting in long periods
  3. Change the siting positions frequently
  4. Quit smoking
  5. Avoid exposure to cold weather and wind
  6. Intake plenty of milk
  7. Do proper exercise
  8. Avoid excessive physical works
  9. Avoid lifting heavy weights etc..

 

Home remedies for back pain

  1. Take 3 grams of sugar candy and 3 gms of cuscus grass aand mix it.take this mixture twice a day with a glass of milk.
  2. Take little mint oil and massage in the low back
  3. Take little lemon juice and mix it with common salt.take this mixture twice a day
  4. Add 5 black pepper cors and 1 gram dry ginger powder and 5 cloves in your tea.take this twice a day
  5. Include vitamin c rich fruits and food items in your diet.such as citrus fruit,tomatoes,blueberries,and strawberries etc..
  6. Apply ice pack(crushed ice cubes taken in a bag) to the affected area.give relief to back pain and inflammation.

 

  1. Take a cup of water and add some fresh ginger pieces in it.boil it for 1 hour.after becoming cool consume this with honey.
  2. Take uncooked rice which is packed in a piece of cloth.it should be heat in microwave for 30-60 seconds.Then kept it over the back region.
  3. Take little castor oil and massage over the painful area.
  • Take 1 tsp of honey and mix it with warm water.
  • Keep warm water bag over the back region or lie over the bath tub filled with warm water.
  • Take eucalyptus oil and garlic oil then massage over the painful area will help to reduce the pain.
  • Intake of 8-10 glasses of water daily.
  • Take 2-3 cloves of garlic in the morning.
  • Oil prepared by 10 cloves of garlic in 60 ml of mustard oil on low fire till garlic turn brown colour.after cooled apply it over the back.allowed to remain for 2-3 hrs.later take bath with warm water.repeat it for 2 weeks.
